About kitmytrip Service

• General

  kitmytrip is a tourist SIM sales and pocket Wi-Fi rental service which operates on a cellular mobile signal provided by selected local telecom provider/s and is available wherever the signal is available.

  The service is configured to offer connectivity at 4G/ LTE speeds however in some areas depending on the environment according to the wireless service characteristics (indoor areas, towers or in underground parking areas) the service speed may be slower and/or might be intermittently disconnected.

  All kitmytrip devices are equipped with SIM cards for the use of data services only. These SIM cards are directly registered in the name of the Customer

  The standard operation of the kitmytrip device is based upon the Terms and Conditions of the local Telecom Provider which is in line with the existing laws and regulations of the Telecom Regulator.

  As per the laws and regulations of the local country, restricted websites will not be accessible with the kitmytrip device.

  Customers are mandated to use their kitmytrip device as per the standard laws and regulations of the country.

  KMTH Trading LLC and its Associates will not provide kitmytrip services/products to any of OFAC sanctions countries in accordance with the prevailing laws.

  Terms of Lease

  The rental period begins when the kitmytrip Kit is handed over to the Customer The Customer undertakes to pay a security deposit for the kitmytrip service. Security Deposit is independently charged from the rental charges. The security deposit will be refunded after the kitmytrip Kit is returned, after adjusting for any loss, larceny, disappearance or the damage of the device during the rental period. The security deposit can also be utilized as payments for any additional days/data purchased by the customer (subject to requisite approvals from the customer and kitmytrip team).

  Rental ends on the last day of the paid rental period at midnight (00:00 hours).

  The Customer is required to return kitmytrip Kit prior to the expiry of the rental period.

  A grace period of a maximum of 10 hours after the expiry of the rental period is offered to the Customer without any extra charges. Any late returns will attract additional charges.

  Rented kitmytrip Kits need to be returned at pre-communicated locations and or at a mutually agreed location.

  To extend the rental period or the data allowance the Customer can email care@kitmytrip.com from the email id used at the time of booking. Approval provided by the Customer over email will be considered as an explicit authorization for collection of the additional charge

  Personal Identification

  Customer acknowledges that in certain cases KMTH Limited staff or Associates may require checking the identity of the customer to comply with local regulations. In such cases the customer agrees to share a digital copy of their passport with us.

• 
  

  Products or Services

  Products or services available on our website have limited quantities and are subject to return only as per the returns instructions provided for individual products.

  We reserve the right, but are not obligated to limit the sales of our products or Services to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products or services that we offer. All descriptions of products or product pricing are subject to change at any time without notice, at our sole discretion. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. Any offer for any product or service made on this website is void where prohibited.

  Depending on the customer inquiries, kitmytrip may also offer additional products or services including but not limited to Data SIMs and Voice SIMs

  Schedule and Terms of Charges and Payments

  All payments are to be made upfront at the time of booking the SIM or the WiFi kit.

  The Customer is liable to pay the complete charge of the rental period, even if the SIM or the WiFi kit is collected later and/or returned back earlier than originally booked for.

  Prices for our products are subject to change without notice unless already purchased for. We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time. We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the Service.

  We accept payments online using Visa and MasterCard credit/debit card in AED and USD

  The following credit cards are accepted on the kitmytrip website: Visa, Visa Electron, MasterCard, MasterCard Electronic and Maestro

  kitmytrip offers a full refund of the service if canceled 48 hours prior to the first day of rental. No refund will be offered if the cancellation request is received thereafter.

  Refunds will be done only through the Original Mode of Payment.

  In case of loss or damage of the kitmytrip Kit deposit will be utilized as follows:

  US$ 10 in case the customer takes the SIM card upon the completion of the rental period

  US$ 10 if the charger or the battery of the kitmytrip Kit is lost or not returned

  US$ 10 in case the kitmytrip pouch is lost or not returned

  US$ 5 per day for the days exceeding the original rental duration

  US$ 70 for not returning kitmytrip device or Kit

  The cardholder must retain a copy of transaction records and Merchant policies and rules.

• 
  

  Customer Rights and Obligations

  The kitmytrip device should be tested when rented – it should be operational and in an undamaged condition

  All kitmytrip devices are fully charged and loaded with the appropriate data package when rented out

  The Customer is liable for returning the kitmytrip device after the rent expires via a pre-approved kitmytrip channel and/or partner with all its belonging accessories- in the same working order as at the time when rented.

  The Customer will indicate to the staff if there is any kind of malfunction or error on the device.

  The installed SIM card will be issued in the name of the kitmytrip customer in compliance with the KYC requirements as specified from time to time by the Local Telecom Regulator.

  The Customer has the right to retain the SIM card upon the expiry of the rental period. If the Customer returns the SIM card behind, the Customer authorizes KMTH Limited and its Associates to destroy the SIM card on their behalf.

  The Customer will not hold KMTH Trading LLC along with its Associates liable for any subsequent fraud or abuse of the SIM card once it has been returned

  The Customer cannot sublet/lease the rented kitmytrip device, give or allow in any manner to a third party to use it either temporarily or permanently. These acts cannot be considered as “Own Usage”, therefore any of the above-mentioned acts will result in the loss of the security deposit and blocking of the SIM card.

  The kitmytrip SIMs and WiFi kits will ONLY operate in the countries mentioned in detailed description of the individual product being purchased or rented. Any additional roaming charges incurred by the customer by using the SIM or the WiFi kit in countries not listed in the valid countries list of the product description. Any improper usage of the SIM or the WiFi kit will result in immediate forfeiture of the Customers security deposit and blocking of the SIM card.

  Warranty and Exclusion of Liability

  The customer has no right, title or interest in our products or services except, when the customer has complied with their obligations, the right to possession and use of the products or services on these terms and conditions.

  All implied warranties, conditions or guarantees relating to the correspondence with description or sample, fitness for purpose or quality of the Products are excluded from this contract to the fullest extent permitted by law.

  We will not have any liability to you, except for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for any loss (including consequential loss), damage or expense which you may suffer as a result of your use of the Products or entry into this Contract.

  Our liability to you will not exceed and shall always be limited to the total cost of the sums which you have paid to us under the terms of this contract.

  Network Interruptions

  The Customer acknowledges that kitmytrip cannot guarantee a fault-free Service and that the quality of the Service may be affected by factors outside of the control of kitmytrip. kitmytrip does not guarantee that the service will be available in all areas of the local country at all times or that there will be no interruptions or interferences to the Service.

  The Customer acknowledges that from time-to-time the Telecom Provider may carry out maintenance or testing to its network, or rectify network breakdowns, or there may be unplanned outages for any reason which may cause interruption to the Service. kitmytrip will use reasonable endeavors to promptly repair any faults within its network and to minimize the period of any unplanned outage. Telecom Provider will endeavor to keep Service suspensions or disruptions to a minimum.

  Fair Use Policy

  The Customer acknowledges that fair use restrictions and limitations may apply to elements of the service. Moreover, the customer acknowledges that the purchased SIM or the rented kitmytrip device will be used according to the standard Fair Use Policy as defined by the Telecom operator from time to time. kitmytrip reserves the right as per the Telecom Operator Fair Use Policy, Terms and Conditions to restrict or limit the data usage and/or the speed of connection.
